Rolling with it

The Old Capitol City Roller Girls had a scrimmage last night against the Quad City Rollers. It was our very first "official" scrimmage. It was fantastic! I want to bout so badly now. We worked so well together as a team. I am so proud of us. We have had two other "sort of" scrimmages, one with the CR team and one with the QC team we played last night. But this one it was an even match up. No splitting between the teams. So we were really able to gauge our skill level. We did better than we expected ourselves to. The other team was even impressed. Our first scheduled bout is Saturday June 6th. It is in Davenport against the QC Rollers. If you are in the area and interested in coming to check us out in action...let me know.
