Molly=Survivor=my BFFSaturday night was a fun filled Mommy's (and Daddy's) evening out. Of course we did some birthday celebrating...but we also went out to celebrate for another very special reason. As I have mentioned before, my BFF of almost 20 years is a Breast Cancer Survivor. She was diagnosed in May of this year with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. (At the ripe ole age of 31.) She has been through HELL over the last few months. Finishing her chemotherapy treatment and is now almost finished with radiation. We celebrated her battle and her long life ahead of her. We designed tee-shirts and donated monies raised to others battling this horrible disease. We headed out (for many of us) on our very first pub crawl. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so it was the perfect time to spread the knowledge about keeping your tatas healthy. It was a lot of fun. We shared many laughs, some tears and some adult beverages. Raise a glass and share a toast to Molly! May your life be long, full of good health, and many more wonderful memories.
