The first injury

No it is not me.
Hitzy Blonde broke her ankle in 3 places at practice last night. Poor thing.
She will be out 4-8 weeks. I am thinking of her!

Ouch!!!!!

I wish I was creative about your bio but I am not very good at things like that sorry!

As for your daughter's changing her clothes and making a mess: would probably only allow her to wear one outfit a day (I would put the rest away).

If she would not hang up her clothes or put them away when done, I'd probably make her wear the same outfit every day until she learned to be obedient and take care of her clothes.

The problem, of course, is that you have so many littles that it can be exhausting to have to continue to fight the battles. Better to fight them now than later though, right?

However, if you can just pick a couple of things (for starters) and try and be consistent it won't be so overwhelming hopefully.

I remember trying to keep our youngest in bed....oh my goodness. It took about three weeks. It was ridiculous.

My hubby and I took turns parking ourselves outside his door. If he came out we would take him right back in again.

It wasn't any fun and we took turns but eventually our son fell asleep. We did have to do this for a couple of weeks before he would eventually just stay in bed without anyone being outside his door.

I used to take a book and sit outside in the hall and read.

Of course, I only had one. Sometimes you give in and do things to make it easier. Of course, you usually have to pay for it later.

My friend's son was 12 before he would sleep in a room by himself. For awhile they had all four kids sleeping in their room with them (the oldest was 12)but they eventually got them all in their own rooms.
