Down with the sickness

I am back among the living. Thank goodness. I have been very sick since Tuesday afternoon. It began as a terrible migraine. The worst I ave had in a long time. Complete with light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, halos and rings ad throbbing pain. Santa came a day early on the eve. We opened gifts and then I headed to my dark bedroom and slept the entire day. We went out for a new tradition, pizza on Christmas Eve, I was in so much pain. Even looking at lights after dinner was not much fun. (Normally one of my favorite holiday things to do.) By Christmas day I was so miserable I could barely stand to watch my beauties open their presents. I moaned and ached. My bones hurts my muscles ached. I seriously felt as if I had been drugged and tried t Santa's sleigh and run over by the reindeer a million and two times! When I could take i no more, back to my bed, my lions den in the dark. Yesterday I called the doc, who turns out had the day off. Matt decided he was taking me to the ER. They diagnosed the headache as a severe migraine (thanks, I knew that) gave me some IV migraine meds, benedryl and Ty3. I also have some IV fluids and learned that I had the influenza virus. Happy Holidays to me! I m feeling much better today. Headache is very faint. Muscles and bones not aching nearly as much. I hate being sick. It has been a LONG time since I have felt that bad...maybe not ever in fact. Thanks to Grammy Pam and Grammy Val...I can not imagine the last couple days without your help. Thanks also to my husband! You are the man!! Even though the laundry is waist high and the house looks like a tornado went through it...the kids were cared for, bathed and fed...and most of all loved...And in your free time...you took care of me...the whining, crying, helpless patient! I love you Stinky!
